Luckily, the only thing Gringott’s ever asked for was a key.
He padded up to the door when it appeared, but didn’t touch it. Instead, he pawed at a loose stone beneath the window.
The amulet he’d made years ago in Arithmancy was still nestled there. He pressed his nose against it and pushed it in.
The door opened silently. The bureau where Mum kept the Gringott’s keys was still there. Everything was as it had always been.
I could stay there, he thought. Mum’s dead; there’s no one to turn me in.
The thought filled him with deep revulsion.

Andromeda hadn’t spoken since she’d come into the house she’d just inherited, but Remus could see how white her knuckles were as she grasped her wand.
They entered the parlor, where Kreacher was fretting miserably at the family tree. Andromeda raised her wand at it.
“We’ve tried everything to get rid of it,” Remus said. “Every spell we could think of.”
She glared at him. “Restituo!” she cried.
Remus barely had time to mentally translate the spell-“restore”-when there was a blinding flash of light. Lines of fire raced around the room, re-writing hundreds of names in their wake.
