"Oh please, Al, it's not the end of the world!" Scorpius called as he ran after his best friend.
"Not the end of the world? NOT THE END OF THE WORLD? Are you kidding me?" Al yelled, stopping in the middle of the corridor.
"No."
"Fuck off."
With that, he started walking again.
"Now you're just being ridiculous Al." Scorpius sighed, following the young Hufflepuff.
"You would know about looking ridiculous, wouldn't you, Score?" Al said with a smirk.
"What do you mean?"
"You sounded rather pathetic when I caught you both."
Scorpius blinked twice before asking "Pathetic?"
"Oh please, Rose, please, don't stop baby, it feels so good." Al said in a rather mocking imitation of Scorpius's sighs from only half an hour before.
"Well, it did feel good." Scorpius spat back, rather annoyed.
"Disgusting." Al commented.
Scorpius sighed again and asked "I don't see why you care. I love Rose, you knew it already."
"She wasn't supposed to love you back, though! And what about the Brother Code?"
"The what?"
"The rule that wants that you don't sleep with your best mates relatives." Al explained, rolling his eyes.
Scorpius stopped walking, which surprised Al.
"What?" he said, looking over his shoulder at his Slyherin friend.
"I was thinking about that Brother Code... When you say relatives, you mean cousins too?" Scorpius said while starting to walk again"
"Of course, idiot." Al answered, his feet working again too. "Rose is my cousin, isn't she?"
"And so is Annelise."
"What? I don't have any cousin called Annelise!"
Scorpius rolled his eyes in a perfect imitation of Al and said "I have a cousin called Annelise, idiot. You know her, she's aunt Daphné's daughter and you fucked her at Gavin Longbottom's birthday party last summer."
Al paled. "What... I... She... How do you know?"
"Rose is your favourite cousin and she tells you everything, Annelise is mine and she tells me everything."
"Fuck, Score, you've been knowing for seven months and never said anything?"
"Of course not, I'm not some crazy maniac wasting time worrying about my cousins' virginity."
Al blushed a deep shade of red and started to stutter that he was not.
"Too bad Mr Badger, here is your common room. I'll see you tomorrow!" Scorpius said with a wink.
And with that, he ran back to the Ravenclaw Tower - Rose and he had been interrupted, after all, and some things shouldn't be left unfinished.
