Week 87 -- Make a list of reasons why you want to have kids.
1. Any child I would have with Jordan would be eat up with cuteness.
2. If the child I have with Jordan takes after her mother, she'd also be eat up with smartness.
3. I've always wanted kids. I think the desire to nurture and provide for someone else is there in most of our genetic make up.
4. I'm pretty good with kids. Most of the kids I coach in T-ball and basketball seem to like me pretty well, so I must get along with them okay.
5. I don't think there'd be a better feeling than holding child that you and another person made out of love. Then to watch that little person grow and develop into their own identity...just, wow.
6. There is that tax-deduction issue...
7. I believe that one day, when you sit down to a family dinner and you see your kids, and then their spouses, and then your grandkids has got to be one of the most satisfying feelings on earth. The earth turns, time is patient, and the generations continue.
