Back in the Real World

So I went to Florida this weekend for my dad's birthday. That was nice. I really like getting off campus. I ate lots of food. Let's see how many simple sentences I can make in a row.

I guess a weekend is just too short a time to really feel like a vacation. Oh well. I got to eat good food and see my family, even though they will be here in two weeks.

Every time prior to this that I've gotten back from the airport to school, all of my friends were there to meet me at the taxi and it was so sweet and yeah... that's not going to happen anymore. It makes me question my whole freshman year.... if a group of people can't be friends if they aren't living in a 10 ft. radius of eachother, then I guess they shouldn't be friends. That's what's happening and it just bothers me becuase you leave high school and lose friends and then you come back in your sophomore year of college and lose more friends. I know I don't like change and have to get used to this, but, I don't like it, ergo, I shall whine.

I want to be home.
But, that won't be the same either. Well, especially home home... no one is there.
Maybe I want to be at IU. But not everyone is there.
Funny, I have 47 friends on facebook from IU. I think that's more than my georgetown friends. I should investigate.

Bleck, organic test tomorrow. What a pisser.
