So, I'm sitting here in the computer lab in the basement of the library trying to write a paper about water and sanitation access, and my nerdiness has been confirmed yet again. I have these really large books and *gasp* I think I like them. HOWEVER, I am starting to fade at 1:18. Meanwhile, this lab is still full and these people are ROBOTS. Really. Type type type. Read read read. Its impressive. Really. So yes, this is my rant.
On a happier note, I just ate a REALLY good orange. A toscarrana or something sicilian like that. Its kinda like a blood orange and super yummy. I went to the grocery store today. I still feel like I'm skipping school if I leave campus inbetween classes. However, really skipping a class, like I did this morning and Monday morning, seems to not phase me. Huzzah.
I saw the cherry trees on Sunday. Next April, everyone that knows me needs to come here and see them. I'm a sap, but really, they were amazing. Ask me to show you pictures. However, it was just another reminder that I'm single. It seems like a really nice thing to enjoy with a significant other. As four of my friends did on Sunday. Oh well. If someone could remind me of a time that I was comfortable with being single, even if it were for a short time, please share.
I am going to get back to the intricacies and joys of water access.
Did you know that 3.4 BILLION people lack access to sanitation, directly related to the 3 million deaths that occur each year from diarrhea. That's really sad.
