If you put all of your heart into a dream, it will come true. So was the case this past Thursday night, at Battle of the Bands. It was the culmination of the past few months' dream I've had to be a credible rapper that could not only entertain but to affect others. It took a lot of writing over the past few months to get where I'm at today. It also took a lot of people: most importantly John Bowhers, Wes Dew, and Keegan Vo. Together, we made BLVD: a rap/rock band that could have serious/motivational lyrics but also have a humorous/pop culture side to it. Battle of the Bands was the 5th week anniversary of our first ever rehearsal together. After that unforgettable evening, we have gone so far since then. Thursday night, we shocked the entire auditorium with our music. Everybody expected us to be a joke. Nobody expected us to be the real deal. Things are changing, and I'm glad to say it's for the better with BLVD. We'll be performing at my birthday party on Saturday, May 6. The party starts at 5, but the concert is not on until around 7-7:30. Everyone is welcome.
