I have been cleaning all day, although I haven't been working very hard. This has all been amidst watching 'The Man With Two Brains' and 'Legally Blonde', and re-reading select essays from Chuck Klosterman's 'IV.' I am obsessed with Chuck Klosterman, which is probably okay, and I also unapologetically love 'Legally Blonde', which is probably not

valet story now please!

Haha, the valet story itself isn't weird. When I picked up my car and drove off, I realized that like an entire cup of coffee had been spilled all over the passenger side of my car. The seat and floormat have been cleaned but the floormat still has brown spots on it. I should just replace it but I haven't yet. It was a weird day just because Sean and I had broken up a couple of days beforehand, but then his dad had a heart attack (he's okay now) and I rushed off to Emory to be with his family. It was just emotionally taxing, and I'm really close to his parents. He and I are back together now. It's like, round 3 by now.

Hey, you're listening to Thao!! :) That made me soo happy, to see! I really dig this album...I have 5-6 new artists (new to me at least, Beth) who I hope--with their next album--will become long-time personal favorites. I find maybe 3-4 a year who affect me like this...whose next album moves me as much as the one that first caught my ear(s?). :) Eames, and Jens were the last two. I am really digging, She & Him, Beth! They go to the top of the list for my next Insound order. Hope the cleaning went well...things can become befouled soo quickly, *sigh*...it is humbling and scary how even a week's ignoring can create dust/slime havoc. Be well, Beth, CR
