SOOOOOOO I'm in Paris! And everyone is FRENCH!
It has been a loooong summer- after my last disgusted-with-frikkin-texas post we flew to Germany. Daniel, Izzy and I went on our little "bonding while seeing the sights" trip. Results: Daniel is no longer speaking to either Izzy or me. So that was a success.
I just got to the EDUCO program this Sunday: this semester I'll be staying in a host family- mom and a thirteen year old son... but don't move in until the 11th. I am also being FORCED to attend stupid french grammar classes until real school starts on the 24th. I hate grammar... but if I don't score high on the final exit exam they'll stick me in some sort of remedial french grammar class, which I really don't want.
Speaking of real school, I have to get at least a B+ in my classes in order for them to count... and I NEED them to graduate this May. WTF, Cornell? Study abroad is supposed to be the semester for those of us who want to travel and have fun, not slave away in foreign languages! stupid stupid.
So. Send me comments so I don't feel all alone in a foreign country.
