I worked in Richmond all week at the Steveston store. It was kind of funny being able to walk into a store I've never been to and tell everyone what to do.. including the store owner.
I need to go to school. I think that I'll plan to move home next summer and just do it.. or take out student loans but I feel it'd be silly of me to not take advantage of the fact that, at 21, I'm in the last few years of it being acceptable for me to move home. I love my independence but I can't go on much longer with out any direction and even though I've moved into the Head Office and that's awesome for my age.. I need to find something I'm passionate about pretty soon or I may kill myself.
Moving home would also allow me to not be such a psycho stress bag all the time and maybe I could even save some money.. which is just not happening living in my own apartment.
Matt and I hung out yesterday and it was really fun. We went to the beach and then had beer and nachos on a patio on Commercial. We went to the field by his place.. my old place.. and drank some corona in the sun. We ended up talking about us, of course, and I tried so hard to explain things to him but its hard to make sense of it to him.
I really want to figure out how to meet some Vancouver lesbians. Unfortunately, I don't live on Commercial drive and I don't have a lot of gay friends so it makes it hard to meet gay people. I also have that straight girl look about me so they don't exactly flock to me. Longer blond hair doesn't scream "I love boobs in my face."
I'm tired of getting pathetic little crushes on straight girls.. it frustrates me and it always happens.
