-- Clearing LiveJournal cached files only
- Click Tools, and select Internet Options on the Internet Explorer menu bar.
- Click the Settings button.
- Click the View Files button. The window may take a couple of minutes to load.
- Click the "Internet Address" column. This will sort the files alphabetically by internet address.
- In that column, look for entries beginning with http://www.livejournal.com. Normally, this will be sufficient. However, if you have a paid account and use urls like http://yourusername.livejournal.com/, you may need to find those as well. It depends on what the problem is to begin with. Whatever URL you're having trouble with, that's the one to look for in this column.
- Select the files you want to delete. You can select more than one file at a time by holding down the CTRL key. Note that you will need to click on the filename in the Name column, rather than the Internet Address column to do this.
- Click Delete.
- Close and relaunch your browser.
