Don Cruikshank named 2016 Miami Citizen of the Year
Don Cruikshank, or as we know in For Better or For Worse as Uncle Danny got an award last year. Here is the link to the article:

There’s nothing in here about wife Beth Cruikshank or ex-sister-in-law Lynn Johnston, but there is a pretty good picture of the modern day Don Cruikshank and a description of how he is appreciated in Miami, Manitoba. He seems like a pretty fun guy and aside from the white hair, he looks pretty much the same as the picture from Lynn's website:
