They used to have some class,but in the midt 90's it went pretty much down the drain (From own experience and words from others),I had one harrington from them,that ripped in the seems in 99' and a pair of tassle loafers that fell apart that I bought in 01' the loafers lasted for about 2 weeks and the jacket maybe a week,and it was from normal wear..but I did have a Merc Crombie from the 80's that is still around..so I don't know if they have gone back to quality over quantity,nobody I know buy from them any more cause of bad experience in the late 90's and the early 00's..a mate of mine who has a clothing shop in Bergen (norway) was not very happy with their quality..or atitude for that matter either..that to was some years ago,so they might have changed..I don't know...Their stuff looks nice and it has always looked nice,but the quality is a bugger..try Warrior Clothing for jacket shoes and other nice stuff http://warriorclothing.com/uk/shop//index.php?osCsid=831ce2d5ff76ce5f30151a0ce07c71f2 and And Sherry's for Sussed Suits,,I bought from both places ..and they have always been good Quality.http://www.sherrys.co.uk/

Yeah, I have to agree. I have a dark red one I bought in like '93 from 99x in NYC and it's nice. Nice fabric, nice stitching, sturdy, etc. But the newer stuff is shit. Cheaply made and the cut of the suits aren't even as nice. I'd say look elsewhere unless you can find an older one on ebay.

It totally Is..I have bought a secondhand Harrington from Warrior..and it's the best quality ever..:)
