So I went shopping the other day at the mall for a dress to wear at my friend Caitlin's wedding. I bought a nice black dress. I was shopping with several actresses who all live in New York at the moment. I showed them the dress and they said "what kind of jewelry are you going to wear with it?" "I haven't decided yet. I have a lot of options. I was thinking either silver or pearls" They looked at the dress then at me and asked "Well, pearls is more Long Island and silver can be more Manhattan. Is this a Long Island or Manhattan type of wedding?" I just had to look at them slightly incredulously and say "I think it's going to be a nice KY wedding." Then I just had to laugh as they stood there and contemplated what that could possibly mean. They've never been to KY and I'm sure they were thinking Dukes of Hazzard or something once I said that. :) Silly people, but lots of fun.

Today is my last day with the daytime off and only running the show at night. Tomorrow we start working on the next show during the day and running Beauty and the Beast at night. Though perhaps the show should more accurately be called "Diva and the Beast who caters to her every need" Might not sell as many tickets that way. :-P

I'm going to the craft store with part of my 'collection' of gay guys. It's quite the interesting dynamic here. Then I think I'll go to the bead store across the street from the Atelier and make some jewelry before call tonight. We'll see how it goes.
