Last night a group of us went ice skating in Lexington. I guess with all of that Olympic watching, we had a desire to try for ourselves. We learned just how amazingly talented even the worst skater we see at the Olympics is. It's hard! By the end, we were tired of going in loops around the rink where the ice was all chopped up and we tripped over 4 year olds, so we decided to learn some tricks. We can now spin in a circle, skate backwards, and do some really shaky arabesques for short distances. Not bad! Definitely fun. We then ate at Tolly-Ho, went to Target and came back to campus. KW and I spent some time in the art barn where I played with charcoals while she created masterpieces with oil paints. A much fun night!
Went to bed around 2. There was no snow. Now there's like an inch and it's still snowing. Matthew just called. I have to go help w/ auditions again. Nothing like 2 weekends in a row. Maybe sledding later?
