OMG. My mind is blown.
I just watched an Asian stage performance where this woman was singing "I Need a Hero" while dressed up as She-Ra. All these other people were dressed up like… Bats or something, running around, grabbing her and twirling her around while she looked all helpless. They eventually take and put her on this X-shaped cross and then Indiana Jones appears with a group of white bats who grab and hold the black bats so he can, very gingerly, whip them to stop them, all while the music switches to a strange version of the Indiana Jones theme. Then Indiana and the white bats rescue She-Ra and a troop of midgets in non-descript outfits walk on stage while the "I Need a Hero" song resumes. Indiana and She-Ra are all romantic and she's grateful while he tries to leave. At the end of the song she poses with her muscles flexed and then it cuts to a giant poster/banner of the real cartoon She-Ra, with a hole cut out for the woman's face and she stands there smiling while the Star Wars theme plays.

It just keeps getting better: the woman who was She-Ra is Vilma Santos, the most decorated and important actress in Philippine history (according to Wikipedia). She was the first woman mayor of Lipa City for 3 terms (9 years) and went on to become the first woman governor of Batangas. Her name is being thrown around for the 2010 presidential election.
All goes to show how ironic her She-Ra video was - we all know She-Ra never needed a hero. ;)
