[Ichigo got no present from Renji at his party because getting your birthday present four days early ain't fair. So today Ichigo will find deposited neatly outside the door to his quarters a small box wrapped in plain brown paper with no ribbon or anything cuz that's just not manly at all. Inside is a chocolate bar from a vendor in the 8th district of Rukongai known for his candies (hey, boys can get chocolate too! Renji knows Ichigo likes chocolate, shut up!) and a pair of swanky sunglasses from Gintonbo. Because just cuz you're from the living world doesn't mean you can't look cool in Seireitei. And no, they don't look like Kamina's--Renji knows Ichigo's not quite that dorky. He kept the Kamina shades for himelf. Also included is a note just scrawled on a little square of rice paper:
Happy Birthday, greenhorn.
