I'm very close to turning in my master's thesis.
I just moved out of NOLA and five minutes away to Metairie. People from NOLA consider Metairie to be another country.
I adopted an adult mutt from the local shelter. His fur was so matted he had to be shaved. He turned out to be a puppy. He turned out to be a poodle possibly bichon mix. His name is Django.
I have written 150+ pages of a novel. I turned in the first 100 pages to be professionally critiqued, and the feedback was positive. I am currently workshopping it in my critique group. Once I have a new draft, I'm sending it to (Doc) Billy Martin for book doctoring. Then I'm self publishing it.
I helped a good friend move here from Miami. Now I have a roomie.
I am very tired. I was depressed for a long time, but now I'm on medication and productive again.
I'm teaching writing at UNO.
I'm pretty happy.
