i had a very lovely atypical valentines day
we had a picnic in the botanical garden. instead of going to the deyoung we went to the beach, and found ourselves at the ruins of the old bath house. the wind was so furious we were almost blown over. we were walking through caves and climbing on the rubble of the past as the surf crashed up against the rocks. we drove home across the golden gate bridge and watched the sun set on a hill in marin overlooking the ocean. my car was shaking so hard i thought we were going to be blown over the edge. we came home to watch but i'm a cheerleader and fell asleep in each others arms. it was amazing.
love certainly is the harbringer of the best and worst days in our lives.
i am so in love with this life.
