Probably because they keep playing "Kite" and "Sweetest Thing" in the bar at work. And I had to work in there all day today, so no real surprise. ;) I'd play some, but Michael's sleeping on the couch next to me and I don't want to wake him up. *scritches der boy*
I have... a list! *brandishes* Yes. A list of what to put on some "My fandom" icons, cause that meme amuses the hell out of me. Perhaps I'll work on that tomorrow night, since I have off. (Thursday, too! I just have to work lunch tomorrow. Whoopita.) They'll be for Farscape, of course... I haven't had inspiration for any other fandom, yet.
Found out the other day that Amazon's Gold Box offers are worth something, once in awhile. Basically, if you have an Amazon account, you get these offers that you can look at once a day.. there's ten of them, but in order to see each one you have to reject the ones before it. I've never been interested in the stuff they've offered me, but the other day I was idly flipping through and came upon a supersized George Foreman Grill. Originally 50 bucks, being offered for 20. (Oh, yeah, and these offers are discounted.) Bingo. Damn, this was perfect... we've been wanting something to grill stuff on for awhile now. I talked it over with Michael and we ordered it. :) Now I can't wait till it gets here. We'll be able to GRILL! AGAIN! Steaks, chicken, porkchops, burgers.. whoo. Yay.
This week has just been... well... good, dammit! Monday night at the coven meeting, I had an absolutely wonderful meditation. I felt so revitalized after that. I think it really set the tone for this week. :) I'm so happy with this group... I'm learning so much, expanding my spirituality, not to mention I just love these people.
And finally, before I go. Music rec- Melissa Etheridge, "The Prison". Heard this at- you guessed it- work, then came home and immediately downloaded the thing. It's very good. Evocative, soulful, and with this kind of... dry, parched pain. Best I can describe it. Anyway, give it a listen. Good stuff.
