I'm just feeling reminiscent, bear with me. I feel happy and blessed that I have been able to visit loads of places and see so many great things.
I have a little quirk. When I'm at a special place, I always take a snapshot of my feet, standing in that place. For instance we've got this one here:
In Greenwich, the meridian line. I have the same shot of standing on the equator, but somehow that just showed a lot of...dust.
Followed later in that same year by:
A campfire, somewhere in Northern Kenya. Same trousers by the way. I'm such a fashionable chick.
On a traditional Dhow, near Mombasa. We saw dolphins that day!
In a tented camp in southern Costa Rica. Not that you'd know from looking at it. It took a bone jarring trek by keep, followed by a trek on foot through streams and over beaches to get where I was then.
Hey whoa! Pere Lachaise Cemetary in Paris. I love the fat that even the manhole covers are ornate. I've only been to Paris for a two day visit ( much too short!) but I loved it to bits.
have I bored you yet? Okay, one more.
Ha Long Bay, Northern Vietnam. This is a place so surreal, it has to be experienced. Legend has it, two dragons duked it out here. I believe them, I think. It's just thousands upon thousands of these little islands, sitting in the calm green water, waiting for you to come by and wave hi.
