Crossroads
Been dating this woman for four months. While she is a good woman and very nice and does treat a man well, she is also pushing some things too hard. She wants to move in already and yet we haven't been dating for even a year. Plus she's also talking marriage later down the road. HOLD ON A MINUTE!!! I haven't signed on for this. The relationship aspect I don't mind; it's her wanting to be a wife ASAP! I keep telling her to let's wait and see what happens, but she keeps pushing the issue to the point that she's trying to reserve a duplex for us as I type this! Also I mentioned my wanting to move to California, and she immediately wants to go with me when I do move out there! I want to tell her to slow down, but I'm afraid she will overreact like I don't want to be with her. It has happened before. I really don't want to break up with her, but if this keeps up, I'm afraid I'll have to and deal with the consequences that can and will come. I almost contemplating moving to Cali and ONLY letting a select amount of folks know (SHE WON'T BE ONE OF THOSE SELECT FEW...). But I need to put money away like crazy, though. I'm starting by finding and accumulating change and single bills, plus cashing in pop bottles and putting the money up. Because I don't want to be stuck with a crazy marriage-obsessed woman!
