Looks like prostate issues may run in the family (along with other medical issues). My urologist (yes, I have one) was tracking my PSA numbers and they shot up. He knows my prostate is enlarged and doesn't think it is cancer, but it might as well be. At the end of October 2019, I had a pain in my side and was constipated. Went to the Urgent Care facility and they said I also had an infection so they sent me out to visit the emergency room in Anaheim. Turns out, I was passing another kidney stone. So, pills, and off I go. A few days later and I can't pee! Back to the E.R. This time, they stuck in a Foley catheter. I've had a catheter in me since then and it's now almost January. Two months? I guess. They finally got round to doing a cystoscopy a week ago and looks like I need TURP (you can look that up but its gross) surgery. Scheduled for January 22, 2020. It would be OK except this catheter is PAINFUL. Like having a cattle prod between your legs. I go to bed screaming.
Sorry if I'm freaking anyone out but this is a load of cr@pola! Maybe I should have invested in hookers all those years just to keep my juices flowing, so to speak. It's hard with all thhese rubber and plastic tubes all over the place. Even sitting hurts.
