Things Going Good...Sort of
I had another MRI a couple of weeks ago but have not gotten any news on the results. I knew Kaiser was hidiing stuff from me. My doctor had no sooner explained that Kaiser doesn't hide stuff then he read something in my record that indicated they know there is at least an ENLARGED artery in my brain that had gotten larger. Since that comment was from 2001, I figure they have been hiding this stuff from me for about 9 years. It's good I'm forking with the District Attorney's office again.
Work has been settling down. Got a nice comment from a co-worker, but still one of the few people who looks things up in manuals or on the Web rather than panic when something is wrong. OK, I panic a little too but not for very long. Who knows. I may be able to get off these meds yet. At least I have a paper I can shove in my shrink's face when he thinks I'm being paranoid.
Had to work a bit late on Friday but, when I got home, there were hardly any trick-or-treaters around. There was just a couple I saw. No cars this year dropping off kids (unless they were all out and done before I got home). I think I gave out a total of about 5 candies. Even the older kids that show up around 9 PM were not there. There must have been a lot of activities going on. Maybe at the mall or Camp Snoopy over at Knott's Berry. There was a big thing going on at a regional park near the office and it took me awhile to get through that. Also, some "festival" over at a nearby church. But it was really strange not having hundreds of kids around.
Oh, well. Have a great weekend everyone.
