[ History ] :
The "Velvet Siblings" as fanon calls them, have no canon backstory. It’s a mystery if they are puppets brought to life by Philemon like Igor, or if they were once human. All that is known is that they tend to have very little knowledge of the outside world (or at least, Elizabeth and Theodore), thus relying on research, and asking the player a lot of questions when out on dates to tour their world.
She also reveals on her optional boss fight that she is wondering if there is any other purpose to her existence aside from her Velvet Room services.
[ Personality ] :
If there’s one word that can describe Elizabeth, it would be "curious". She always is, about the outside world and things around her; and for the people around her, Elizabeth herself. Her passion to learn new things knows no bounds, and of course, with her service in the Velvet Room, nearly everything most others would find to be ordinary objects are a rare sight for Elizabeth, and she seems to go as far as collect these items. Nothing is more thrilling for her than to go outside and discover the things she had read about in books, after all.
Generally pleasant and helpful, she upholds the image of an ideal attendant, even if the Compendium prices to summon Personae border on (or are blatantly, depending on difficulty) the expensive. She’s polite in her speech, no matter the temperament of the other; though, she will be unafraid to make a remark about her disapproval, while maintaining her courteous tone. Her patience never seems to run thin, keeping her aura very professional. Or just oblivious, considering she wouldn’t know how long or bad a time would be considered "the period wherein one normally becomes upset".
Despite her being unaware with the ways of most of the world, she herself is rather perceptive of peoples' characters, and with her imagination, she can come to wild (but scarily accurate) conclusions about their pasts and subsequent development, if she doesn't have any source material to turn to. She might come across as almost scary with her excitable yet composed attitude, but she really is a nice person, if not unintentionally eccentric.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Given she’s one of, if not the, hardest optional boss fight in Persona 3, you should have guessed it, yes, she’s incredibly tough despite her appearance. Headcanon says this extends to beyond the usage of the Compendium / her Personae, so that she would not have a very strong sense of pain, and her physical capabilities are probably indefinable.
While Elizabeth has the power to sense even faraway people, it’s done in approximation. Like in the huge (/mostly tall!) dungeon Tartarus, she tells the player where the trapped person is, usually at intervals of five floors or less. She won’t be able to identify someone beyond stating "it’s someone you know". She won’t use this to track anyone specific either, and not at all anyone outside Vatheon.
Due to her innocence, she is quite the gullible one, and will believe almost anything someone dares to tell her. It’s rather hard to convince her otherwise afterward too, and most don’t even bother, unwilling to break her confidence in the information.
[ Other Important Facts ] :
• Elizabeth might literally have a bottomless stomach. … She didn’t feel any different after seven meals. Possibly no sense of hunger at all, really.
• No demon or deity in disguise can pull the wool over her eyes, she sees them as they are, and will call them by their real name (assuming they go around with an alias) unless told to do otherwise.
• Yes, she will still collect really weird things during her stay in Vatheon.
• Despite her power, she’ll be passive to many events. It’s precaution against her godmod. As a side-character, she’ll stick to being moral support.
[ Sample ] :
[The silver-haired girl is wet, standing straight, very confused, but more than anything else, absolutely fascinated. She looks like she was ecstatic as a kid in a candy store, but she restrains herself to greet the creature keeping her company first.]
Oh my, you are not Pixie? My apologies, I thought you were someone I knew. Nevertheless, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.
[Elizabeth’s smile is quaint and respectful, but the little stranger flying just beside her shoulder gave no response. It would be rude to turn away, right? So she keeps her hand extended for a handshake, waiting. Waiting.]
[ Questions? Comments? Concerns? ] :
It is so hard to find words to describe Elizabeth--this length is unsatisfactory and I will edit it to fit my standards later.
And also, if allowed, she will running Compendium services for the Persona protagonists Minato, Haruka, and Souji; and substitute Dr. Victor for my eventual Raidou. For that last case, I'll just type out if he had gotten her help with fusions or whatnot, I hope that won't be considered playercest!
