Life?

Live has been progressing, for the most part like school. Classes have really started to pick up. I seem to have all good professors this year, so I hope to learn a lot. None of my classes are exciting to people who aren't engineers, no "Ways to blow up the moon 206" or anything, but we are solving some crazy problems. Econ and french are mostly reviews for the most part, and it's good, because I understand most of what the french teacher is saying, and when I'm lost, most other people are too. Math is also mostly review, but that's going to stop pretty soon. I've decided that the symbol Rho is used way to much, as it was used 3 different ways today, and I know of at least one other major use for it. The professor makes at least 2 mistakes per lecture, and when people tell him he made the mistake he goes into this long explanation of why he was wrong. He also uses phrases like "so back on the ranch", and "about these critters". We figure he owns some sort of critter farm in texas.

Some other Quotes from this year.
Prof Lambropoulos:
"Fortunatly, I speak greek"
"A mathematician walks into a room with 50 engineers..." (One of the better joke lead ins)
"We make up names (like rectilinear) so people who aren't engineers feel deficient"
"This brown box thingy" (After boxing in a nasty equation)
Prof Cohen (Math professor from before)
"Force of gravity, depending on if you use metric, is roughly 9.8 meters"
Prof Regina Demina (yes, her name rhymes)
(Everyone laughs when a map of Russia with a big star where her home town is is projected)
"What? Never seen this map before? This is Europe and Asia"
(Talking about electric forces) "Long distance relationships are hard to maintain. Increase the distance, attraction goes down"
"I can go all the way to Africa and there will still be a charge"
"Sit back, relax, and watch people suffer" (Trying to get us to watch her run a marathon)

Oh! The jugglers have had a lot of new interest this year and it is awesome! If everyone sticks with it, we should have some impressive stuff in the future.

Lastly, those of you that either pray, or do an equivelent to prayer, if you could please keep my friend Anna in your thoughts. It isn't my place to say why in this venue for obvious reasons, but I thank you for doing so.
