Erin gave me K

How it works: Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation of what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.

K is for Kristopher: He is my best friend, the person I can be serious with and the person who I can come up with venom spitting beaver with. The only other person who understands why lemurs are scary.

K is for Kavik & Kirin: Since they really are one dog with two heads and one heart, I can do them together. There is nothing better than going home to bury your face in their fluffy fur. Even when they try and sneak out through the gate.

K is for Kayla: my very dear sister-in-law whose laugh is not the same as mine :).

K is for kilobyte: a totally outdated file size now that emails are often 1 megabyte (or 1000x a kilobyte) however since I deal with computers almost everyday kilobyte is an everyday word for me.

K is for kanji: one of 4 Japanese alphabets. You need to know about 5000 kanji to read a newspaper -- to bad I could only recognize about 500 at my best.

K is for Krakatoa: Which is the island in the book The Twenty-One Balloons -- one of my favorites growing up.

K is for key lime pie: one of my absolute favorite desserts.

K is for Koala: like the picture on the wall in my office that I took in Australia.

K is for kitten: which was what the first picture I ever sold was of.

K is for knife: which is one of the first things Kris and I realized we had in common: a love for knives and swords.
