My dearest Paul Leonard Newman, pardon me whilst I drool. He's now 81 years old. Do I love him any less? Of course not. I think I might actually love him more with each passing day. In correlation with the topic of my love for Mr. Newman, I must bring up the rumor that Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are planning to remake Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Now, I don't have anything against either of those gentlemen, even though I probably should. But if they go through with this I will kill them. I will hunt them down and kill them. Without mercy. Why in the name of all that is holy would Ben or Matt want to mess with one of the most important classics of all time? Do they think they can improve upon it? Or do anything other than create an abomination that should be ashamed to be using the same title? Currently those 2 are on my list, the only chance of redemption being if this atrocity is stopped somewhere between conception and commitment to celluloid. Ok, so celluloid isn't used anymore, but you get the point. In closing, fuck you Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, fuck you.
Sigur Ros isn't coming anywhere near me on their tour. Not cool Sigur Ros, not cool. I guess with The Strokes, Mason Jennings, Eisley, BRMC, Stars, The Elected, and Jenny Lewis all coming the world decided that was enough for me. Damn world.
