It was probably one of the best weekends in a long time. I had a great time just hangin out.
(by the way I have the coolest mom in the world, she just wanted you all to know that haha)
Friday- So... I got to (for the first time EVER!) drive with IVY!!! we went down to starbucks right after school and i got some weird tea stuff that was really good. And ivy is the best parker by the way.. it only took her about 10 minutes to get into a spot lol but it was fun!! Then tryouts, which i think i did pretty well at. I even did my power hurdle cartwheel haha which sucks cuz im a loser but kyle made me do it... And i spent the eight hours i had to wait just hangin out with ivy and practicing and stuff. Then, the most amazing thing happened.... (and i think that i, mary greenleaf, have finally gotten in touch with my bitchy side lol lauren and ivy know cuz i showed it to em at lunch the other day)
** these three freshman girls (two who really arent very good cheerleaders) were standing in the hall, during ivy's tryout, just talking crap about some other girl who tried out.. So i stood up and said, "hey you guys really shouldnt be talking shit about people, especially since the list of who made it hasnt been posted yet." and then they kinda just sulked away... but i wasnt gonna let these girls just stand there and beat down someone who could potentially be their team mate. I just wouldnt let it happen. But i felt pretty good about it afterwards. Who cares if some freshman hate me, i know i did what was right.
Then later that night, gilmer came over and we watched anchorman (haha afternoon delight, best song ever!) and half of grind, then he had to go home... it was a really good night though....
Saturday- I woke up early (at like 8!!) and got ready to go to matt's baseball game... Then jen came and picked me up and we went to safeway and hunted for luna bars for like 20 minutes! then we went to his game... then we watched the game and tiff and her mommy came for awhile which was fun but then she had to go get her hair cut. but the boys played a good game .. they really fought for it and played a great game. then me and gilmer went and saw robots which was good... but the company was better ;) then we ran into tiff and mike and just hung out talking for awhile haha.. that was interesting. especially when mike was trying to convince gilmer to go rent lesbian porn with him..lol good times. then i came home and adry came over and we baked the world's most amazing strawberry flower cake!!! and of course we decorated it and then ate like half of it lol!!! and watched parent trap and grind which she thinks is the dumbest movie ever!
Sunday- i woke up on my floor in the basement alone at 1130 haha... great start to the day.. haha but adry was upstairs and then we ate more cake and did the dishes which took like an hour! then i went to my mission trip meeting and talked to nat knudson for awhile and checked out john's "amazing" (more like hideous) state ring which he flaunts like its a supermodel. and talked to fleet for a lil bit too. me and lizi clem are probably gonna hang out next weekend too! omg i miss that girl like crazy! we used to be so frickin close, and now we hardly ever talk! but shes so cool! then me and my mommy went to noodles and ate and chatted for awhile.. now i am putting off doing my homework. lol..
so it was a good weekend. and even though i couldnt go to that movie thing last night its okay cuz i had a good time just hangin out around my house... hopefully next weekend i can go out though!
