004. You envy the fact that I can get away with listening to Disney songs and you can't.
I had nothing much better to do with today, so I decided I wanted to find out what my name means. It turns out that Bryce means quick moving, Dallas means wise, and Howard means watchman. Of course, they named me Bryce Dallas after Bryce Canyon and the fact that I was conceived in the city of Dallas, but it's still kind of amusing. So apparently I'm a quick moving, wise watchman. Ha.
I guess the 'quick moving' part can also describe the way my life's been the past few years. I went from having done next to nothing to having a full schedule. I'm glad that people actually want to cast me, but I'm also a bit reluctant to give up the freedom I had before. I'm still holding onto it, but just a little bit. You've got to be flexible in this line of work, so I'm learning to bend rather than break. And wow, don't I just sound like some corny old 70s song. My hippy parents would be proud. Anyway, as soon as Mary Queen of Scots is done, I have to get right to work on The Lady in the Water. I can't say that I don't look forward to it, but I also can't say that I don't wish that I could just go off and do what I want to do for a little while. Sigh. Anyone else think I analyze things to death?
