Internship day 1 and a new obsession (absolutely!)

First day of internship = massive, massive fail.

As soon as I walked in I felt so awkward. The people there may have been nice, but there’s only so many times they can smile and say hi and give me some words of advice. Not to mention I was really quiet and probably fit the shy Asian stereotype. Heh. But no seriously, it was bad. Even I was embarrassed for myself. I am the crappiest medical assistant ever. I was extremely nervous around the two patients I had to cover, I blanked out on taking blood pressure, respiratory rate, and pulse rate, and for the second patient I forgot to put a cover on the thermometer! WOW! I think they were sorta getting annoyed to… GOD WHY DO I SUCK SO BAD. I think everything I learned in ROP class just trickled out of my memory. And after 3 hours walking around aimlessly, my feet really hurt. I need new shoes. BUT I DON’T HAVE ANY TIME TO GO SHOPPING! sob, sob.

I have a really big headache right now. I can’t believe I gave up my job for this. Three hours a day, five days a week? I don’t even get paid.

On a bright note, I have a new obsession! :D hohoho~

DEATH NOTE.

Which is the best manga/anime ever, imo.
synopsis: Light Yagami is an extremely intelligent young man who resents the crime and corruption in the world. His life undergoes a drastic change in the year 2003, when he discovers a mysterious notebook, known as the "Death Note", lying on the ground. The Death Note's instructions claim that if a human's name is written within it, that person shall die. Light is initially skeptical of the notebook's authenticity, but after experimenting with it, Light realizes that the Death Note is real. After meeting with the previous owner of the Death Note, a shinigami named Ryuk, Light seeks to become "the God of the New World" by passing his judgment on those he deems to be evil or who get in his way.

Soon, the number of inexplicable deaths of reported criminals catches the attention of the International Police Organization and a mysterious detective known only as "L". L quickly learns that the serial killer, dubbed by the public as "Kira" (キラ, "Kira" derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the word "killer"), is located in Japan. L also concludes that Kira can kill people without laying a finger on them. Light realizes that L will be his greatest nemesis, and a game of psychological cat and mouse between the two begins.

The best part of the whole thing? L. He’s so cool, f'sho.

How can you not love a guy who looks like that? Ahaha. Just look at those huge bags under his eyes! That's pretty cute.

Not to mention he eats sweetsx9234932 and sits in a hunched over position to increase his brain power ♥

But really, who do you think looks better? x: Light is so brown haired boring ordinary, except for when he becomes a psychopathic rampaging killer ^_^

Anyway, I’m off to do something relaxing. Not that that wasn't loads of fun.

God, it’s going to be boiling tomorrow.
