Swim meet!
Today was my second swim meet. I didn't totally hate my life afterwards, which was largely in part due to the fact that I did not swim the 100 butterfly.
And while I managed to get out of the 100 Fly, my events did include 100 Medley relay (Freestyle), 100 Freestyle, 200 Freestyle relay, and the 100 Breaststroke. My 100 Freestyle sucked, cause I swallowed a ton of water right before my first flip, so it threw me off the rest of the race. I got my group DQ'ed from my Freestly relay because I started about half a second early. But my 100 Breaststroke rocked because I didn't come in last (isn't that a bit pathetic?). I got fifth was totally and completely proud of myself.
The kids we swam against were all really fast because most of them are in swim clubs, so they get that extra training. We lost the meet miserably (their overall score was more than triple ours).
And the pool was indoors so I was warm the whole time and didn't have to bring my parka, which was nice.
