Bear With Me!

The site that hosts most of the images for this community (photobucket.com) has "suffered a catastrophic raid failure". As a result, if you had a photobucket account, you have probably lost your albums. Once the site gets rebuilt, I will try and get the images uploaded ASAP, but as I am generally always busy, it may take me longer than them. All ( Read more... )

www.0catch.com has a free hosting plan - but the free hosting plan doesn't allow the offsite linking but I have the bronze plan which you pay $6.95 a month for and it does allow offsite linking and I have had pretty reliable service for almost a year now. If you want I can host you on my account if you do not have the funds just right now. Huggs Jude <3

try using imageshack.us. it's free and i've had nothing but great luck with it. they even provide all the html and clickable thumbnails. as far as i can tell, the only caveat is that if you don't access your images every six months or so, they get deleted. it seems this can be avoided by going down your file list every six months and clicking everything once.

thanks and btw, thanks so much for thetutorials, they've been really helpful and practical for me, much more so than "how to make letter appear on fire!" or gooey buttons - I am a photographer and it's really great learning how to use the app to gently tweak my work. Thank you.

Hi Clare!

I've honestly never heard of something like this before. I always right click on the top bar of the open document window to choose the Image Sizing option, which might come in handy for you. If this problem is only occurring after you have images uploaded, it sounds more like a problem in the code thatis resizing the images. Perhaps the height and width dimensions for the code are off kilter. Do the images look bormal when you open them on your computer after resizing them? If so, then I'm inclined to believe it's not a Photoshop problem. Perhaps you could post a link to the site they are posted on, and I can take a look? I'm not sure what help I can be, but I'll do whatever I can if I can!
