Border Tutorial (Level - Easy)

Someone requested a tutorial on how to add a simple border around their icon. Here is the method that I use and there is of course other ways of doing it. This is the way that I have chosen because I find it simple.


We will start with this base icon of Stewie :)



When adding a border I double click on the little lock on the background layer



This brings up the New Layer box and in this box click ok



Then go to Layer -- Layer Style -- Stroke


I usually do Size: 2px Position: Inside (or you can do Center)
and then pick your color by clicking on the color box.
