The purpose of this post is to have an open dialogue with community members/watchers for what tutorials etc. you'd like me to research and/or write for you. Also, if you'd like to leave a comment or question about anything but didn't feel you had the proper place to do so, now is your chance. I know that I have neglected this community disgracefully, and for that I am sorry. There has been a great deal going on here this Spring that requires my attention, and so I haven't had the time. I also maintain several other communities, so that in and of itself takes up a good chunk of time.
I want to thank everyone for all of the positive feedback I get from my tutorials, I am truly grateful for the compliments and encouragement. As I've said before, I enjoy sharing what I know with others and helping people out in any ways that I can which is what led me to start this community and what I hope keeps me active in it.
I'm kind of stuck on what to post next, though. I'm going to make the next few posts specifically about Brushes and brushwork, and several links to websites with downloadable brush sets. Also, I need to make another tutorial on Actions, because I'm constantly surprised how many people don't even know what they are - let alone use them.
Post a reply to this entry if you want to ask a question, request a tutorial, or leave a comment about anything we've done so far. I think I need to repost this every few months in case newer members/watchers might have a question or a request.
Also, I'd like to reiterate how and why this community is set up like it is. Posting access is limited to a select few people I know, even though I make the vast majority of the posts. All of the tutorials are indexed by category in the
Memories section in order for you to better navigate them and find what you are looking for. If I just posted things randomly and in no specific order, you'd have to start at the beginning and work your way through with no direction whatsoever. I'm an organization freak, so this seems to be a better way of working it out to me. The list of categories you'll find in the
Community Profile. If you request a tutorial that gets posted, you get the credit for it.
I thank you all for the support and for promoting this community, it is truly a labor of love for me and I'm happy to share what I know. Post your comments, requests, and/or questions as a reply to this entry, it's open to you.
Take care all, and be well!
Energy & light,
Jude
