Okay, I got my music blog up and running yesterday. Just one review so far, Hanne Hukkelberg's 'Little Things', but I'll hopefully have more to follow. I'm never going to run out of albums to review, but I guess I should be focussing more on (relatively) new releases. As such, I'll be reviewing Bibio's 'The Apple and the Tooth' next. It's excellent

Oh, I was so impressed that I forgot to say what I was intending to say when I went to reply. Mostly it is: very cool! I will be bookmarking The Chopstick. Although I am not much of a music buying person. I obviously need some lessons in taste.

I was thinking of doing some book reviews myself. Just to have something to put in my neglected LiveJournal, in which I feel guilty about the rapidly receding date of previous updates. But I probably wouldn't keep that up either, anyway.

It is a serious review, isn't it? I think the reason I did it like that was because I'd quite like to get a job as a music reviewer, and I was planning for this to be my portfolio, of sorts. Humour didn't really seem appropriate, anyway. My humorous reviews tend to appear to be trying too hard.

You should try to do at least one book review, to see how it goes. I'd read it!
