It's 12:15pm, and I'm about to go to sleep. I'd just like to state for the record that I have been awake for 29 and a half hours. I think you win this one, Joiz (Just about).

Now, goodnight.

joiz, sleep

I forgot to say goodbye! (or at least say goodnight before I dozed off. what time did you sneak out? I was prolly snoring by then..)

and you left behind the Neil Gaiman book :( I had bought that for you.

your next post should include the Korn quote.

Ah, the Korn quote! I'd forgotten! And, as such... er, I can't quite remember what it was... Was it, 'It's never too early for Korn'?

I didn't know you'd got the Gaiman book for me! Well, okay, I realise you said so in your letter. But in my sleep-deprived state, I just decided you'd bought it for yourself. At least you can read Queen of Knives again. How much of it do you remember?

I left at 8am. I tried reading Lord of the Flies, but I couldn't concentrate on it at all, and I could barely keep my eyes open. I'm still not entirely sure what I did to pass a whole hour, but I suppose I had a pretty loose grasp on the passage of time by then.

Haha, really? That sounds like a nightmare. While I was reading Queen of Knives, though, I was a little worried you might have bad dreams because of it; it was a pretty grim story! But if you didn't actually take any of it in, I guess it didn't matter.

Read Queen of Knives if you have the time, though. It's only 10 pages long.
