Some things I forgot.

I was kind of in a rush to post about my time in Coventry, and I wasn't giving it my full attention since I was talking to James on and off, so I left out a few things of variable importance. Thus:

- On Monday morning, I went into the city centre for a while before getting my train back to Guildford. I thought I'd swing past Sainsbury's, just on the off-chance that Qing still worked there. And she does! She looks really goo,d too. Somehow healthier than she did before, and her hair was nicer. She looked at me as I walked past, too. I held her gaze for about 2 seconds, and must have looked kind of taken aback. I still feel guilty about how I handled things back then. She obviously wanted to be friends, but I was never able to get over my stupid fears and ask if she wanted to get something to eat sometime. And then I pissed off down here to Guildford. What a cock.

- When I got back from Brighton on Thursday, I found water dripping through one of the light sockets in the kitchen. Turns out we'd had a leak over Easter, while everyone was away. The landlord was sorting out when I got back, though, and it's fine now. While he was here, I mentioned the fact that I hadn't received any requests for bill payments for quite some time. So it transpires that we owe him about £600 each. I.. don't where I'm going to get that from. Guess I'll just have to hope my tax rebate comes soon, and is substantial enough to cover it.

I bought Forza Motorsport yesterday. Every so often I get the urge to play a game that involves car tuning, which drives (Haha) me to make an impulse purchase. Last time it was Gran Turismo 4, and before that Need For Speed Underground. Quite nice it is, too.

Tomorrow I get a train to Brighton just after 8am. Actually, on reflection, I really don't need to get into Brighton at 10am, since my interview isn't until 11am. I'll get a slightly later train, and give myself half an hour to get there. My portfolio is almost complete; 4 minutes of song clips, some rubbish I wrote about one of my recent remixes, and some old coursework I wrote, which should make me look incredibly intelligent (At least until it becomes obvious that I have no idea what it means anymore). I just need to polish one of my unfinished songs enough to fill the remaining 45 seconds of my CD and I'm done. Excellent!
