I have started a few projects that involve me making things for my more "interesting" friends for christmas. We have been playing zombie flux, talking about World War Z, Dawn of the Dead, 28days later (we do not talk about 28 weeks later since it sucked so hard) etc etc and our general zombie plan such as it is. ...Sorry.... some of you aren't going to make it!!
So....I was inspired by
http://www.geekologie.com/mt/mt-search.cgi?search=zombie doll&IncludeBlogs=&IncludeBlogs=1&x=13&y=6 I went out to the craft store and bought some felt, buttons, beads, thread and fluff so that I could create my own zombie dolls. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Mine do not have detachable bits (although I did want to try that) and are decidedly less professional, but have a fair amount of individual character. A fun gift to make and give I think.
Not to mention that I wanted to have something else to do in the evenings other then play warcraft and surf blogs.
I don't have TV ... so I ended up watching movies on the weekend and sewing. This is perhaps not the cheapest entertainment, and in all truth, warcraft is likely cheaper then renting three or four movies a weekend, but we shall see! I'm going to have to get my brother to burn some more tv and movies for me, since I havent the foggiest how to get that done. I did however, get a chance to watch the sci-fi mini series The Lost Room. Which was excellent! I wish it were a book.
well back to the meat of it (haha meat....what zombies love)...here are the pics
Rotting zombie doll and Fresh zombie doll (still needs a mouth).
