Wow, today is May 8! That means in a month it'll be ... June 8! Sort of, since we'll be getting to Houston on a Friday not a Monday.
OK, I do have a point to this post. I'm burning some CDs for sophinisba and claudia603 and wanted to offer to burn one or both for anyone who's interested.
claudia603 made me a great muse music CD last year and I love it, so I want to return the favor. I actually have had a partial playlist on my laptop for a while and will finish it up soon. It'll have some mantra music by Donna DeLory, some music from Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, some Dead Can Dance ... basically muse music, inspirational music I think you would call it.
More recently, I've been talking to sophinisba about the Waterboys, who I've adored for over 20 years now and who are still going strong. Their leader is from Scotland and their music reflects his Scottish/Irish/spiritual/rock sensibilities. So I'm making a CD for Sophie as well.
Be glad to burn more copies of these. Just respond to this post if you're interested in me making you a copy of one or both :-)
