Don,'t get me wrong, I WANT to be a journalist, but seriously guys, sometimes, you just have to know where to stop. I mean there is a line separating news and sensationalism ... everybody else can see it but you. Are you blind or something?
The press can't stop raving about that
'Britney Meltdown' but how the HELL can you NOT go crazy when you see your face and every deeds plastered in the papers and all over TV every single day. Your doings (even the smallest and most insignificant ones) are criticized, your skills as a mother put into question, your dressing style trashed the minute you hit the streets. You're followed night and day by an army of photographers who are camping outside your place. You can't even go to a public bathroom without seeing yourself on TMZ the day after. HOW IN THE HELL can you not go nuts?
The shaving of head session? My guess is it was nothing but a rebellious reaction to all that.
The commando expedition with Paris? Well, what can I say, maybe her underwear was in the dryer -shit happens. She forgot to put panties on. She likes to go commando. HELL! Be happy that at least she had shaved *AHAH*
YES she kinda was asking for it -they all do- when she decided to live her life in the spotlights.
YES she needs the power of the press -they all do- the press made her who she is ... a star.
But wait a second. The press today is this God-like entity that has the power (or takes it anyway) to give stardom and to take it back at will, destroying lives in the process. The press makes and breaks celebrities.
Wake up people, the press is NOT GOD -far from it-. They think they are, and unfortunately there's no one out there with enough guts to tell them otherwise.
So, no I wouldn't call that a 'Britney Meltdown' as much as a 'press meltdown'.
This is becoming insane. What about "All the news that's fit to print"?? Suddenly, all the stuff that's newsworthy becomes secondary when the name Britney Spears enters the equation.
YOU are driving her crazy.
YES. YOU. The press, the journalists, the paparazzos. What-EVER. You have to stop that, like right now. This is driving ME nuts: a) seeing her sad face EVERY-SINGLE-DAY on the news (don't you think there's more important things to talk about?) and b) realizing that all you guys really think about is money. This is just pathetic. You're exploiting her personal problems to sell copies and attract easily influenced and gossip-starved stupid viewers.
This is not exactly what I'd call journalism. This is trash.
