This week's TV Guide cover story just kind of says more of the same but I always like hearing it: "[T]he end stays true to the core relationship that forever anchored the series. 'The finale really is about House and Wilson,' Shore says. 'That relationship has been a joy to me. To see a genuine friendship between two men that's explored over many years, that's rare.'"

And then when Laurie describes shooting the "last House scene ever": "'It was one hell of a moment,' he says, clearing his throat with genuine emotion. 'It was me and Robert, and we looked each other in the eye and acknowledged that it's been quite a journey. There are no words you can say to each other or to the crew. You can't summarize eight years. It was just a teary-eyed nod, a bit of heavy silence and that was it.'"
