Piglet the puppy goes cracker-dog!
Aagh... I'm exhausted with the puppy! She's a darling (when she's sleeping) but my hands are covered in bites and scratches, she's pooing and peeing everwhere (doesn't seem to be 'getting' the pee in the garden thing, despite happily wolfing down the treats she gets for performing in the right place--often plays in the garden for 10 minutes and then runs into the house to pee in her bed!) and she didn't say a lot after we'd watched House together on Tuesday morning...
Her latest trick is pulling off the labels from the plugs under my table, which tell me which plug's connected to which computer-related device, and she's begun to show a worrying interest in chewing cables! Aagh... Still, though: she is a little darling, and she ate her first 'real' food this afternoon :) I'm making a scrummy lamb recipe and I ended up with the backbones from 5 little anchovies, and it struck me that she might enjoy them. She did!

And when she's tired, which is about once every 90 minutes, she just collapses in a little heap on my knee, and sleeps for a couple of hours. At those times she's an angel :)
Over the last few days we've watched the first series of Belle & Sebastien. I don't know whether you got that in the States or Canada, you North American peeps, but over here in the UK it was standard summer holiday fare throughout the 70s (along with the Robinson Crusoe with the fantastic music), and when I found it on Amazon last week I simply couldn't resist. Piglet loved it--all that barking, and the snow and everything--and got a bit over-excited. Here she is going a bit beserk *g* I have to go now, as the little bugger has learned how to pull the clothes basket over and she's doing it again...
