Hello, peeeps :) Well I'm back from Birmingham, and I've met a whole PILE of peeps I've been corresponding with on LJ for ages now, and it was absolutely AWESOME!!!

The toast was particularly yummy toast, and don't overlook the scrambled eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms. I ate more for breakfast in two days Chez angus_honey than I eat here in a month and a half :)

I am relieved to have escaped the dogs' sharp-toothed attentions. Phew! What is it with the way that doggies like to chase piglets, eh? Imagine if they'd ripped off my disguise!! *blanches*

Has it really been two years we've been corresponding? Wow.

I'm so glad we saw you guys yesterday! We'd been round the art gallery and up by the Symphony Hall and we were heading over to Selfridges when we found you. So cool, Birmingham now has a new reason to be special to me now. Part of me is thinking 'Was it all real?' and part of me is sad cos the meetups are over, even though we'll see each other online.

Also: 'Random Aussie' is secondsilk :)

It was really great to meet y'all, and particularly good fun since it was all so unexpected until just a couple of days before.

I thought at the time that I might not have understood properly--I thought y'all said you'd just run into another LJer quite out of the blue--but it was all so overwhelming that I didn't like to seek further and better particulars :) I've fixed the piccy.

B/T/W-the "random Aussie" is actually secondsilk. We generally don't go around dragooning unsuspecting young ladies into our ranks, no matter how fetching. She actually made the decision to deliberately be in Birmingham to attend Panto with us.
