Oooh Muse! I love them! I actually have the Origin Of Symmetry album on which they released Micro Cuts. From that album, I also love Bliss very much.
OoS is their strangest album, though. I can't decide if I like Showbiz or Absolution better (that's the first and the third album), but I was a little disappointed by Black Holes and Revelations (the most recent album). It seemed like they'd lost a lot of their originality.
I've seen them live twice in the last year, and they're an AMAZING live show. Lots of lights and flashy neon things and shiny stage decoration, and a beautiful sound. If you ever get the chance, go see them!

I'm so glad you love them too! I'm getting Origin of Symmetry too, but maybe I'll also check out the other ones you've mentioned. I'll certainly go and have a listen to Bliss after I've written this. I saw Micro Cuts described as the 'Marmite' track somewhere on the internet earlier today i.e. the track that people either love or hate. I'd rather hoped that the whole album was exactly like that, but apparently not.
Francesca, who now works with me, has also seen them live twice, and she also said they were the very best live band :) Ta v. much for the recommendation. I'm definitely going to seek them out now :)
If you want me to, I could rip the four Muse albums to my computer and upload them for you to megaupload or sendspace. Then you could have a listen and decide which song you want to acquire, and which don't strike your interest all that much.
Muse definitely is a love/hate thing, not only Micro Cuts. That one is maybe the most extreme example, but Muse is a taste that not everyone shares.
If you ever get into Doctor Who fandom, then I'll have to make you watch a Master video to Feeling Good, which is amazing. Muse is nice vidding material. Oh, and if you like Muse, you should check out Radiohead (if you don't know them already). Muse is often compared to them. And they're playing in London in July (Radiohead that is. Not Muse.)
Yeah, the vid's about The Master, but not the Master from Classic Who. It's about the amazing Simm!Master from the New Who season 3 finale, and if you watched it now, you'd spoil yourself. One more reason to watch New Who, though! ;)

That would be brill, TVM! Yes please.
Master video
Master as in The Master? I'd love to see that!
I've not really listened to any Radiohead, but I'll go and take a look, thanks.
Must is nice vidding material.
Heh. I was thinking about a H/W angsty Muse vid y/day, but I'll probably not get round to it. Still...
