Watch out, fields - the concrete monster lurks nearby!
I lament the imminent wholesale urbanification of our little unincorporated town. They are working to install three additional on and/or off ramps from the freeway. These ramps will lead right into our tiny haven. This will mean much easier access to the isolated higher rent areas out in the hills just beyond us and, likely, a lot more traffic through our area.
A couple of these ramps have already opened; the extra throughput was noticeable this weekend.
I have so enjoyed the rural small town feel while living on the edge of the urban bay tangle.
