OCs

Making an OC list for Transformers:

Maximus, Gaius and Augustus

An early movieverse idea from one of the shots of battleships that appeared in the movie.

Three Neutral mechs land on Earth - three very big mechs. They land in the ocean (less damage that way, at least they hope) and the first local machinery they encounter is a battle group at sea.

Maximus is an aircraft carrier, Gaius and Augustus smaller battleships (I personally imagine Augustus is the bigger of the two).

They each have a population of minibots onboard them. The separate crews have a designated representative. The three representative minbots are Ambassador, Diplomat and Consul. I never did decide who belonged to which crew.

Also having come to Earth with them are the whole Aerialbot team, Skyfire and another OC...

Tornado

Tornado is a Blackhawk helicopter. He is a Neutral and friends with Maximus. He didn't start developing much beyond that until I connected him to another couple of OCs.

Crystalspark

Crystalspark is a pleasure femme. Purpose-built pleasure-bots have all sorts of systems that are specifically designed for their job. Amongst those are special spark specifications made when the pleasure-bots' bodies are taken before Vector Sigma/the Allspark that specifically orders that the spark of the bot react a certain way to physical pleasure - they experience a temporary love for whoever is causing said pleasure. The purpose of this is something that furthers their job - it makes sparkplay more pleasant if the pleasure-bot is not just feeling some sort of disdainful obligation towards the customer.

Tornado was a frequent customer of Crystal's, who developed a crush on her, but outside actual interfacing, Crystal is less than fond of the attention he starts paying her, since all she has ever felt from him is what is known amongst pleasure-bots as the "false feelings".

Then comes in another player...

Spanner

Spanner is an older mech - late middle age, verging on old age in Cybertronian terms - who lives in the nieghbourhood of Crystal's pleasure house. He's also the neighbourhood mechanic/doctor, and as such frequently does work for the house.

Crystal is one of those occasional pleasure-bots that Vector Sigma/the Allspark randomly throws up - she is not the usual lazy, unconcerned, indolent personality that most are, she wants to know more about the world beyond the walls of the house.
She socialises with the neighbours in her time off and comes to be a good friend in the area, frequently protected by the locals when some idiot tries to pressure her.

One of these friends is Spanner, who takes a liking to her... and she comes to be fond of Spanner in turn.

Meanwhile, Crystal, and by extent quite a few of the local mechs in the nieghbourhood are observing news and can see the war building, as can Tornado. When things start getting bad, Tornado tries to persuade Crystal to leave with him and the three megabots, but Crystal doesn't want to leave Spanner. Spanner doesn't feel he is worthy of Crystal and tries to tell her to go, but she adamantly refuses.

As it is, Crystal has been saving her earnings so she can pay for Spanner to upgrade her into something tougher. Spanner goes one step further for her and upgrades her to a flight-capable altform.

In the end, Spanner gives in to Crystal and accepts her love for him - love formed totally independent of the "false feelings", so she knows they are far more real than anything she felt for Tornado. She and Spanner however get separated and for a fair bit of the war, Crystal is trying to find him again.

There's a few rather porn-tastic plots about what happens when Crystal falls into the hands of a group of Decepticons who have been without comfort for while and wish to make use of her pleasure-femme skills.

Dawnwar

Dawny was based on the Vardia Starscream toy, which is bright pink. My first idea is that it's Starscream's bratty little sister/clone. She likes to get Starscream into trouble with Megatron, but her ploys are usually so transparent that Megatron has taken to using them as an excuse to interface with Starscream. All they need to do is make a few noises that sound like Star's getting a beating and Dawny wanders off, happy, while they get to have some fun.
Added on that, everyone else also knows what Megatron and Starscream do with Dawny's attempts and are secretly amused.

Omnicron

Based on a Bunny Farm bunny - Optimus is not Cybertronian, but he's on Cybertron because he's another member of Primus's race, come to spend some time with his best friend.

My Cybertronian cosmology post covers it in detail.

Axial

Axial is from the Consort plotbunny - Ultra Magnus was the consort of the previous Prime and there is a law that states that if a Prime Consort survives the death of their Prime, they must become consort to the new Prime.

Axial was Sentinel Prime's first consort, having bonded with him before he became Prime. Sentinel didn't want a replacement for Axial, but was forced into taking Magnus, under threat of losing the Matrix and being imprisoned.

The Newbies

These are the latest... not quite OCs.

Stellaris Prime
A past Prime who was a great scientist and explorer. Later becomes the Servant of Primus named Starsong, who is tortured and eventually turned into Starscream.

Divinus Prime
Stellaris Prime's successor, later to become a Servant of Primus who takes a place amongst the Autobots as Perceptor.

Audius Prime
A past Prime who becomes Divinus's counterpart in the Decepticons - known as Soundwave. He likes caring for minibots.
ETA 19 Oct 2008, 1:37 AM: Just a little something from a recent Farm post - Audius trained as a priest before he became Prime. 4. It’d been a bad day, and he knew it was only going to get worse. As soon as he was able, he slipped away and hid in a dark corner of the monastery, curling into a ball and offlining his optics. The sensation of arms wrapped around him, and a shadowy whisper murmured comfort in his ear. He knew if he turned on his optics, there would be no one there, but that didn’t matter to him. Primus didn’t need to be seen to comfort his children.

Marita Prime
A femme Prime. She and her bondmate later become Servants of Primus who lead the "Clan of Primus". The clan sees it as their holy role to maintain the inner systems of Cybertron, living in enclaves within the inner workings of the planet - usually in proximity to major machinery that needs constant care. The biggest enclave - and the one Marita lives in - is located at a lesser entryway to the Allspark (the spark of Primus) known as the "Prime's Gate". The Prime's Gate is where, before the Matrix was created, would-be Primes faced their testing - bonding themselves to Primus so that they could be his representative to the rest of Cybertron.
The clan have a few people in normal surface society, though more Servants, both high and low (high Servants are ex-Primes, low are purpose-created sparks), than straight clan members are on the surface.

When Audius contacts his lord to tell him he's found Stellaris, it is Marita and the cult who build Primus a drone avatar so he can go to Stellaris personally. Building bodies for Servants or drone bodies for Primus is one of Marita's usual tasks.
