I don't write any fanfic as I don't think it would be any good since English is not my first language, and I'd worry too much about the slightest details and how stuff must sound 'off' to native speakers. *laugh* Though if I was a fanfiction writer, I'd probably tackle Obi-Wan character studies, what sacrifices there are for a Jedi or something as intriguing as that.

The moosette bit is so cute! I remember it from the Extras ("Wrong Way Round" part, 7 ep version dvd). It's the same part where Ewan explains about Charley's "breast thing" and starts to mimic him. *dies* Then there's the hoola-hop (sp?) bit, too. Man, that's a wonderful extra on the dvd!
When the moosette lifts its head out of the water... it's just such a hilarious moment! I so loved all the animals shown on LWR. Particularly the sea otters just floating on the water's edge. *grin*

I may cap The Pillow Book myself though it's from an old TAPE (not dvd) and the quality isn't as good as my other caps. I'm very interested, though, because I was just wondering what Ewan film/episode to cap next (I was thinking of 'Solid Geometry' or his appearance on 'ER' for starters.). Sorry, I don't know of anyone who has the caps already... *ponder* You could try ewanmcgregor.net, they have a lot of Ewan's films capped.

There was a hoola hoop bit? I don't remember that bit. Um what region dvd do you have cos I have noticed some bits in the screen caps I've not seen in either the region 2 or region 4 versions of LWR that I have. Gawd I'll buy all region versions if I have to

Oh, thank you. :) I live in a tiny EU country next to Italy, called Slovenia.

My dvd has Region 2 encoding (Europe, Japan, South Africa and the Middle East including Egypt, as Amazon UK says). That's PAL (not NTSC). Now that you've mentioned regions... I wonder if my dvd disk on the comp would play all regions, not just PAL like my dvd player in my living room? *ponder* I never thought of that. Iiiinttteresting. If yes, this would mean I no longer have to rely just on PAL.

WOW I now where Slovenia is:) How cool. I live in Australia and we have a fairly large Slovenian community here.

Phhht don't worry about shipping and I can get the dvd re-coded for region 2 if that's easier but one trick to do for the dvd player but NOT video is put your dvd model number into Google and hopefully you'll find a code to enter into the remote that changed the dvd player form region specific to region free. (doesn't work on videos though they'll remain PAL)
