The last few weeks have been insane. Utterly. And things aren't back to normal, and won't be for some time. Isaac's gone for good, Rachel's off-Deck for months, and is no longer Queen. Säde is Queen, they still don't have an Ace. She's worried about Silas, even though he seems to be handling things.
These are the days that baking is made for. Of course, the problem with that is that she ends up with muffins - three dozen of them, actually - and she is not going to eat them all. It'd be a bad idea.
Giving them to starving Cards is far smarter.
