Following the challenge on Thursday, Nicholas has been in surprisingly high spirits. Pool was certainly not his typical choice when it came to counters - for one thing, there were too many variables - but they were both adults and Davin had been courteous; if he lost today he would find a way to return to Nine, if not climb higher.
However, despite the closeness of the match - and Davin was skilled, certainly; Nicholas just happened to be better - Nicholas wins, taking back his rank of Nine.
He can be found in the corner of Mike's, enjoying a beer and doing some much needed thinking.
