[ARCANA PLOT - OTA] one minute to midnight [threadjacking welcome so we don't have tons of threads]
The Magician materializes on the edge of the Green just after sunset. Anyone in the vicinity might notice the flicker of light as he does so. For the past several days, he's been in hiding with the four Suit Artifacts, resting, regaining his power after all the effort and magic expended in obtaining them. Brooding.
Briskly, he walks to the the small grove of trees in the center of the Green and then carefully, he lays down a circle, sprinkling down white sand as he goes. That done, he places an artifact at each point of the compass, the chalice at the North point, the wand in the West, the coins for the South, and the sword at the East.
Finished with that, he stands in the center of the circle, at the center of the Deck and spreads his hands, eyes closed, feeling the power gather around him, light flickering once again.
It's beautiful.
It's time.
[ooc: okay, here you go. Presume it will take some time for him to raise the power needed to complete the spell. But yes, if you saw him appear or you see the light flickering now...well, come on down and try to talk him out of his insanity. Most anything is game, just please to not be killing him. :)
Also, since there are now several threads and they're not in time-order, their rough order should look something like:
Jubilee, since she saw him setting up
Alasdair/EF, Danielle, and Sandy both happened near about the same time but separately
Elisha/Katya/Säde/Blythe were next
And finally, Vesna picks up the pieces after the confrontation
